Well from a customers point of view they went the way of many others, they removed the word service from their activities
With DS they removed all the young brainy kids who could build atomic bombs in the lunch break and replaced them with gormless brain dead dropouts who could not tell the difference between a fish and chip with a solid state chip
They reduced the stock and only sold stuff in in plastic bags.
Therefore the people who previously went there immediately went on the web to buy on-line instead
When you are a specialist retailer why change your activities so that you now have a plethora of stores and the web selling the stuff you do and doing it better
Its the fashion these days to allow the efficiency accountants experts to direct and change operations, Myers, Bunnings, our local Gloria Jeans coffee shop, some BCF stores, it's the current fad to squeeze the last drop of money from the buyers today and to hell with the future because in theory it sounds good
