Goods coming into Australia with a value of over 1000.00 are customs handled and GST is remitted from buyer to Aust Customs, thsi is especially the case with B2B importing, if the o/s companies won't collect the GST on sales under 1000.00 then these products could become an Aust ciustoms handled import (slowing down the delivery) uand GST paid to the Aust customs before release. I agree with nosirommit , why should some get a similar product GST free when buying in Aust you have to pay GST, in the US you have to pay state and fed taxes on purchases what is so hard about the GST situation apart from bloody mindedness.
I used to import GST and non GST goods into Australia.
