And how can NFLX know who is using a VPN and who isn't? The only deceitful action there is by Australians providing false address details, not by NFLX..
Of course VPN subscribers could go both ways, nothing stopping Americans subscribing to QFX via VPN or using QFX PPV, obviously they wouldn't because the service is so poor compared to NFLX ,VUDU etc.
However I'm sure QFX holders and Langsford for that matter wouldn't care less about VPN as some sort of morale wrong doing if they were benefitting from it.
And Langsford already made a fool of himself with his open whinge letter to NFLX CEO about coming in the front door, well they have and their going to easily become the dominate player for streaming movies and TV content in Aus and NZ. Why would anyone for example pay QFX PPV rates for Breaking Bad episodes when it's part of a flat rate subscription with NFLX.
Watch a few You Tube videos today and most will start with adds for NFLX their advertising is everywhere here in NZ, expect it's the same in Aus.. Plus even if they do increase prices due to GST will still provide the best value service by a long margin due to content available and platforms.
QFX tried to copy the NFLX business almost right down to the name and have failed miserably, sooner they are suspended and delisted the better, history has been nothing but a long costly train wreck for investors.
