Actually, you missed the point I was making entirely. Governments and criminals generally don't censor people on a method of payment. In most situations, that would be irrational.Imagine if instead of the US Government banning Wikileaks donations in 2010, they'd said "OK, we don't like what you're doing. So you can never use Mastercard for this again. But PayPal, Visa and direct deposit are completely fine". This is so stupid that it's sad it even needs to be said. When Governments and criminals target people they dislike, they target their sovereignty, not their payment method. Payment methods globally are highly competitive and I gave you 2 competitor examples. Current monetary systems are highly monopolised, oligarchic, entice rent seeking, concentrate power and create numbness to market price signals. Therefore the primary focus of an alternative system should be to prioritise individual economic sovereignty, with payment method being a secondary concern.
