I've had some doubts on Dean and Michelle which have been well documented here but I have to say they have delivered again. Dean's accounting background and Michelle's understanding of the business has served them well. They are owner operators that understand the business and now have a meaningful stake in the business. The stock is still too cheap to be ignored and once the "I just want to get my money back" investors from the $1 IPO are soaked up the share price should increase by 20%. In my SMSF basically in tax free mode it's close to a 13% dividend this year until Shorten steals the franking credits from me . Which leads me to another interesting prediction - investors that are affected by the retiree tax are going to be looking for high yielding stocks . Mayfield will pay at least a 10 cent dividend in 2020 on the current price of $1 ... that's a 10% yield . Boring yes but MFD to me is liking having a cash deposit returning 13% with franking with a chance of capital appreciation . I can't do that in cash or real estate at the moment so it's not such a bad place to hide in volatile markets
