Warmer ocean temperatures can be mitigated by moving gradually into fortress pens further south of Tasmania where ocean currents are stronger and the waters cooler. Salmon enjoys swimming against strong currents as more oxygen passes through the gills. This helps salmon growth and well-being greatly.
