It's excellent news and totally expected. Firstly I think the deal is done with financiers but of course nothing can be done until final approvals are granted. Some dissillusioned people are taking the opportunity to sell on the good news while there could also be (and probably is) some tax loss selling. Note that the volumes are totally insignificant. Secondly the Tick Hill gold mine is on track and as they said they're hunting for a fine grinding mill to start production on the tailings. Further on the Tick Hill mine the reports indicate that the line of load stopped abruptly, which as I've said before tells me that there's been a displacement. That close by exploration drilling hasn't discovered the continuity says to me that they've not drilled deep enough or not far enough away or both. I'm also thinking they could find it with modern 3D seismic. I'm quietly confident it's there.
Just do the figures on this latest announcement (feasibility) and then adopt a most modest PE of 5 and see what price can be put per share. Methinks a lot of people would be amazed. Then there's the distinct possibility that the dollar doomsayers could be right which would make the price of the product of both mines skyrocket , and remember that every cent below the $US value for the $A goes directly to the bottom line. Keep the faith.
