IS IT?=I suspect the shareprice rise is an OVER-REACTION. Pity i didn't catch the peak to exit
This contract is to supply iv tubing, etc for iv pumps
BUT IF YOU LOOK NOT TOO FAR BACK in MLA announcements
.MLA have just renewed their 3yr contracts with NSW and VIC govts for their IV supplies(consumeables). So would have been a specified consumeable supplier to any contract equipment supplier I suspect.
Anything supplied would probably replace any configured for older equipment.
Therefore,to me this contract although good,is just involving reconfiguration to fit slightly different equipment and not necessarily a massive increase in supply volumes in NSW shareholders imagine.
IV equipment hasn't really changed much in 25yrs,nor has the tubing.(used to fix them)
If this leads to anything more,it will be a case of being a cost effective(cheap) and reliable supplier, being present and able to do the same in other localities. So to assume competitors resident elsewhere, will not be more cost effective,in their home territory, might be a JUMP TOO FAR.
Tuta is a great product, but my blood donations no longer find their way into TUTA bags.Contracts come and go.MY blood service use two other competing brands interchangeably,no doubt on price OEM SUPPLYING IS ABOUT RELIABILITY AND PRICE ABOVE ALL ELSE
REMEMBER-time spent on research is the best investment you'll ever make.Reading the companies own past announcements not a bad place to start
