It is highly unlikely that there is any CSG potential in ATP 946. It's only the Eromanga coals and they are too low rank, they are basically lignites there. You can't rule it out altogether because sometimes low rank coals can be in a 'perfect storm' situation where they can work for CSG but realistically... highly unlikely, especially given the location in the middle of nowhere.

The real potential in ATP 946 is in the very deep underlying Adavale Basin, but ROG hasn't farmed in there. For good reason - it's 4300m deep and a well down to that depth would cost about $5M, at a guess. But I think the Adavale has much more potential than the CSG, if you can afford to spend the money on it.
