As fontenay said - the clock is ticking. And for Moly Mines its only the early days for obvious reason. The Molybdenum hungry Chinese are setting themselves up to be the greatest empire ever in human history. And baring any natural catastophe in the next 100 years they will certainly be futuristic beyond our imagination of today.
Mega Cities, mega services and mega needs of energy and resources. And what will be one of the most key metal - yes we know Molybdenum. Every aspect from supersteel in superfast trains, ships, nuclear reactors, electricity generation, piping, buildings ,super highways, tools and drills, weaponary, catalyst in refining all types of fuels, catalyst in pollution control, homes appliances -an endless list of applications.
So thats why they are cornering the world markets NOW for Molybdenum - General Moly in Nevada, Moly Mines in WA,...
Anyways expect Moly mines will be producing Iron Ore in October but knowing the Chinese they will be really pushing Molybdenum production if possible ASAP.
Great to hear (from Yesterdays announcement)that "Hanlong is confident that the Spinifex Ridge molybdenum project will advance to the next stage of development quickly, Hanlong MD Hui Xiao said. As the future controlling shareholder of Moly Mines, Hanlong will continue to do what it can to benefit all the shareholders of the company".(and of course Chinese interests).
Now lets move to the next stage of development. Bring on the cash and see how fast the US$500 million facility will help Moly Mines fly.
BUT reminding anybody NEW just browsing about. The "snowball" has already been rolling along and growing - prodction and export starts in October 2010 with the iron ore. YES IRON ORE- demand is also skyrocketing in China as well as the world once again - prices are climbing once again. So its all happening now VERY NICELY for Moly.
For now just waiting for some mysterious nice BIG buyer appearing on the scene in the next few weeks or months. Ill certainly have an inkling of where they are from.
