    Hi Moorookamick and all,

I agree the market appears to be looking a little more favourably on the beaten down Gold stocks on the ASX and it’s nice to see the KRM price rebound of late. I note the selling seems to be drying up and possibly by the time we are reading the first 2015 quarterly report things may look even more brighter.

Some dates for those with an interest in the Gold market in general.

25th of January 2015 Greek elections.

26th January opening of the CME 1 Kg Gold futures market.

“Gold Kilo Futures will provide global gold market with precise risk management instrument- New product will be specifically tailored for price discovery in the Asian market and physical delivery in Hong Kong.”

The of course there is always the general January Effect:

Then we have January 27th & 28th (Tuesday-Wednesday) FOMC meeting.

I normally expect a gold price kicking ahead of the regular FOMC meeting; however, given the oil price and other things going on in the world at present we may find the Gold price showing some staying power this time around.

Of course February will see the Chinese New Year and I see the Gold buying frenzy for this even is well under way.

“400,000 yuan per minute means it’s likely more than 0.6 metric tonnes of gold is sold per day in just one shopping mall in Beijing. How many of these shopping malls are there across China? I wish I knew.”

As ever these are just my thoughts shared in good faith and certainly not to be taken as advice, potential investors should do their own full and due diligence. As we all know this kind of investing is certainly not for those of faint heart; that said it can also be very rewarding at times.

Whatever your views and investing strategies I wish you the very best of luck for 2015 and beyond!

Cheers and very best regards: Andy
