hi clowntrader. the most telling signal is the list of insiders buying: P.Gray (chairman) - 1 mill plus dollars, with an average of ~9cents and buying as recently as last month I.Dallas (former ceo, current director and the man running the major relationships in the UK, including metronet) - 10million shares at 3.5 cents last month ~350K in cash. D. Ledger (former director) - als with substantial purchases a few months ago.
These guys have stumped up hard cash because they know what is in store. They know the state of the negotiations better than anyone else and have continued to buy in recent months in significant quantities.
so despite the cash on hand being enough for another 2-3 quarters, i think these recent share purchases tell us there is some excitement in the pipeline. no other reason for people on the inside to stump up such huge amounts of cash other than to make money and probably quite soon.
HTI have lined everything up and it is time to shoot the targets down. The recent appointments sound perfect.
my expectations for contracts:
Metronet very shortly (5-10m) more heritage listed buildings in the UK (1-2m) more Hong Kong work through the ASD mandate (1-2) Chinese underground mid-late 09 (5-10m) potential pilots/contracts from the middle east mid-late next year. (5-10m)
im quite bullish on this stock, but also aware of the cash position. the insiders purchasing gives me some comfort in this regard.
good time to buy right now imo. HTI is about 80% of my invested funds.
