Getting my head around the acquisitions and growth profile. I agree that both purchases are a gamble with significant risk of paying a premium for products that have a relatively small moat, but do offer potential synergies with their hardware business. For me the multiple product streams from 3 online entities will derisk the game fad effect. Although a competitve field they now have the talent to maintain and grow their market share in a growing market. The beauty of digital is that the cost of product, marketing etc is relatively fixed whether you sell 10mill or 100mill so profitability could be substantial.
Growth in both hardware and digital is likely to be exponetial with the movement of millions into the middle class for asian and india. ALL is well placed in decades to come to be a major player in the gaming industry. Worth a premium to buy the stock IMO.
