I am an avid NFL fan (not a Patriots fan I must add) and the 'Do Your Job' philosophy applies to all organizations, sporting or otherwise. But aside from that philosophy and having the greatest QB of all time, the one thing that stands out to me about Belichick is that he is ruthless when it comes to performance and making personnel changes. Even if you "Do Your Job" he will not hesitate to replace you if he identifies that someone that can do it better.
Imo this company hasn't been ruthless enough ensuring that they have the best people, they are too complacent and too loyal. Nothing has happened in Tanzania for over 18 months. The only thing that has been achieved is the development of EcoGraf, and there is only one person that can take credit for that, Christoph Frey. What have Spinks, Pett, Conidi, Pierce and Rae done to earn their paychecks? Are they the best people that the company find?
