we will see this year about Syrah. Producing graphite is not easy (actually producing any industrial mineral to high level of specifications is not easy, including lithium, vanadium, cobalt....etc). I would be extremely surprised if they commission and ramp up production this year. It took the the biggest graphite plants in the world (one in china and the other in brazil) literally more than ten of years to achieve 50.000tpa+ throughput. What syrah is trying to accomplish, is a miracle in mining engineering, that to the best of my knowledge, has never been achieved before. I am very sketical, and i hope they prove me wrong.
