Heraclitus a simple wiki search will reveal that :

"As of 2015, graphene is not used in commercial applications. However, many uses for graphene have been proposed or are under development, in areas including electronics, biological engineering, filtration, lightweight/strong composite materials, photovoltaics and energy storage".

Now contrary to what links have been posted suggesting that graphene is for sale in quantity, the very opposite is true. What is on offer for sale is the product for developmental testing and trials. In other words the total market at the moment is R&D. In all fields of application, the processes are not cost effective, nor proven the test of time for stability. Hence research is ongoing. That being said however, the market is developing.

I would also agree with Jaded that I take instant dislike to Nasa's list of preferred respondents. The list is biased towards those in support of certain views and is in fact detrimental to a balanced argument.

Finally, over the weekend I had a discussion with a friend and senior advisor in Japans Mitsui Advanced Materials Group and can back up the stance that graphite is still in infancy and focus is graphoid and graphene applications for commercial use by 2020.

Posters investing because of web-links need to get a grip and research properly.
