Officially ratified maybe, but McLean has been acting CEO for months .......
The comments were also directed towards McLean as he posted out an email encouraging shareholders to ask questions, to which there has been no response, a bit like the old MO of the company ....
Furthermore, when GPP announced the "proposed acquisition" the time line for EM Survey was "August" and "Drilling to commence in "October, but in McLean's email he is suggesting "hopefully" and "weather permitting" drill will commence before Xmas ....... but I would also suggest from "phase 1" of the option agreement that there is going to be some pretty hefty costs associated with the Lincoln Springs project. They took 80 rock chip / grab samples and GPP have paid them a substantial amount towards their costs in the first payment, basically spending $500k (GPP spend on all the projects) doesn't appear to get much work done in Australia. . . . @Zammita is correct there will be some CR's coming short term ......
King never excluded his vote at all on the vote for the acquisition - his vote was excluded on the ratification of shares previously issued (to which he took up some of the placement)
In the resolution "to issue consideration shares to ION Mineral vendors" King voted accordingly as did everyone that loaded up with cheap mates rate shares ...... as per a previous post
King/Xcel/Tomsic/Astron/mates/TheSower/small sale make up approximately 320M shares, so deduct that little contrived group and the results aren't all that good, although it is still around 60% for 40% against for those that could be bothered registering a vote ....... but not the landslide you are purporting it to be ......
@Davy Boy The company indicated there will be a full report on all their projects provided at the general meeting, but wasn't available for the meeting that decided the "issuing of consideration shares" so it does not matter what is in the due diligence report now ...............................
Contrarian views are great for any stock, if you have material that supports your viewpoints rather than what you offer ...... "fingers crossed"
cheers
All the above my opinion only ....
