How do you come to the assumption that in 3 - 4 weeks time we will have new directors?
Considering the next scheduled meeting (12th October) is only for
1: The ratification of prior issue of shares under placement - this is the placement (6th of June) that I suspect went to Xcel Capital, and by ratifying these shares it gives the company the ability to issue more shares without shareholder approval under the 15% capacity (listing rule 7.1) and the 10% capacity (listing rule 7.1a)
2: Approve the issue of consideration shares to ION Minerals

So no we won't have "proposed new directors" until after the (IMO) Annual General Meeting, but what I really don't get given GPP managements past history on not quite accurately informing the shareholders/market through their announcements that you have voted to accept by default, King/GPP's interpretation of the success of the "due diligence" without having access to the independent report prior to the meeting/voting. As they are only making the due diligence report and all the other project reports will be available at the AGM.
Also, McLean is already talking as if the "proposed acquisition" has already been approved BUT as quoted "ION Minerals has worked hard to secure some of the best high grade Australian battery mineral projects"
    - although these same "projects" were passed over by other companies (Newcrest & Peak Resources) as per post:

    - bear in mind, the person that will gain the most out of this acquisition is McLean as his company "Mineral Intelligence" owns 100% of Ion Minerals, but how good a deal is it for GPP? as per these posts:

    - high grade based on grab samples? we all know where the euphoria of "high grade" grab sample results got us at Morabisi, right?
Lack of information on the grab samples but this I will check later ...... but of course if you are selling a tenement that no- one wants but could possibly have something that GPP wants to hear it has, then easy peasy we sell it to you easy.........

We also do remember that this rinse and repeat scenario is another GSM/Guyana all over again, some tin pot outfit needs funds to explore/drill out something they think is prospective (that they couldn't previously sell) and we do have a desperate management team that have failed dismally to actually have a project get off the ground as they search the "ebay" of Mineral Companies looking for the next hot thing in the mining/battery sector. The fact that we employ/engage all sorts of "professional" consultants to do their job for them but still fail miserably is another joke in itself, remember Trench, the person that "In the fullness of time" was going to be on the board as our new COO, other than him liking one post on Facebook thats all we heard of him, pfffffffffft.

    cheers
All the above IMO unless quoting posts from other contributors.
