@TheSower ... if you go back to before January 2017
you'll see I was just as optimistic as you, if not more so. Partly because I took announcements on their face value but time has shown that what is written has often, if not always, shown not to eventuate.
My negativity extends from buy in prices way in excess of the .006 that the share price is trading at ... there are many in the same boat. People who bought into the "potential" of this Company to see what was promised hasn't even been close to being delivered. I think this is why you will find many now non-holders, who were once significant holders, also still return to pass comment because they feel duped in some way by the management team.
I'm genuine when I say I do like your optimism - I don't see you as a ramper but more so someone who always sees the grass as being greener. That said no amount of OHD is going to make the grass green when the Company has failed to consistently deliver for shareholders imo. When they start to actually achieve what they've pledged I'll stop the the negativity but until they do I'll continue to preface all my posts with buyer beware for all potential new holders.
I appreciate you posting a rehash of the announcement but the appointments hold about as much excitement for me as the appointment of the expert Trench bought to the OHD project. I can read, but was querying what I was missing in their CVs? I can see they're adept at doing deals but I was questioning to the benefit of whom?
Someone also mentioned that these projects had been disregarded by others ... and I couldn't help but wonder if this was a desperate grab at a project when a 249D appeared on GK's desk at a time when the ground appeared to be bare in Moribisi and the promised "juice-machine" hasn't appeared for OHD.
If we were to compare modus operandi; the management team have become highly adept at writing highly positive announcements (many that actually use the same formulaic wording) over a 10 year period for very little, if no gain for shareholders; picking up projects and dumping them when they fail and rehashing CR's after the funds are spent; supporting very few, if any successes, during this period. While I agree I'm highly negative, I think I've been more accurate in my predictions than management have been to-date.
That said, being right doesn't feed my ego like it does some and I truly hope to see unicorns and rainbows on the horizon but that responsibility lies with management; not me and, until they start to deliver what they promise, I will continue to bang-on on this thread to warn any potential buyers of the potential cluster-**** they're buying into.
