There's a saying. The truth behind business success is 1% idea & 99% execution.
A Chairman, CEO & CFO sitting in an office in Perth taking a fat salary can't really enable or drive execution in another country period. What was really disappointing, they couldn't even get the selection right for a project manager contractor to drive the plant improvements. Luckily for shareholders, Ed Swarts a maintenance plant specialist took over the responsibility for the project and delivered. Thanks Ed your the man!
Also the downfall of BDR was significantly helped by management decision to bring on MACA mining contractor. They couldn't execute either. I get a sense the contract requirements of "moving that dirt at the lowest price" was flawed from the outset. If you enter a contract you enter a relationship with the intent of both organisation being successful, something seriously went wrong. For that, l will never trust MACA Ltd to deliver nor will l invest in companies that select MACA Ltd to provide mining services.
