I think you may be unfair in assuming this is something they have not looked at and their PR people have neglected.

The use of aggressive SEO techniques can be a turnoff, particularly when used by companies that want to be take seriously - too much of the tryhard and snake oil about it.
Analytica have made it clear that they are looking for a grass roots campaign from their PRs and I think the page rank will lift quite organically as the devices get out there and are received favorably. When the clinical trial is published the web of links surrounding that will help further.
My point is this may be part of a deliberate strategy to underscore the legitimacy and credibility of the product rather than having it perceived as a slick fly-by-night SEO-boosted gimmick.
I know that is the sort of campaign I would like to see run if I was in the driving seat and it a discussion I'd expect the PR company to have with me.
On the other hand the lowish sales numbers and plummeting SP make for a queasy feeling in my stomach and I am sitting at a drawdown about twice what my trading plan calls for so I can understand your tone of frustration.
