Board Changes The Board of CMA Corporation Limited (ASX: CMV) has today accepted the resignation of Chairman Alan Good. Managing Director Doug Rowe has ceased to be employed by the Company with immediate effect, but presently remains a director of the Company. Grant Anderson was appointed interim Chairman at a meeting of the Companys Board. Mr Anderson has been an independent member of the CMA Board since October 2008 and has more than 20 years executive experience in the manufacturing and logistics industries, both in Australia and abroad. The Board has also appointed Michael Humphris as an additional independent director. Mr Humphris is a Chartered Accountant with more than 40 years of audit, finance and advisory experience. He is a consultant to accounting firm BDO Kendalls and holds a number of directorships at ASX-listed companies. Mr Anderson acknowledged the service of Mr Good and welcomed the appointment of Mr Humphris to the Board. He said the Board hoped to appoint an interim Chief Executive Officer shortly and was interviewing potential candidates. The addition of Michael Humphris to the Board will provide significant experience and guidance as the Company accelerates its restructuring process, Mr Anderson said. By refreshing our Board and executive team we are reinforcing our commitment to provide stability and certainty for the Company. Mr Anderson said the Board also planned to appoint another non-executive director in the coming weeks who may potentially be appointed as Chairman of CMA. - ends -
