Thank you WAGold for a respectful reply to my post (I have no idea why it was moderated as it was in no way defamatory/flaming or baiting) and full marks to MAL230355 as he has always written factually. My posts have always been consistent with respect to my view on the future of the Star and I believe that they lie at depth.
I agree that the ROD shows promise but it will be your typical high grade low tonnage air leg operation as has been the case with all the successful mines in the Woods Point/Walhalla gold field. Long hole open stoping just doesn't cut it.
I have respect for AUL management and applaud their efforts to put value into the company. What I find unsavoury is the plethora of posts from the armchair experts who have no understanding of the mining industry and are only speaking through their hip pockets. As an example one or two posters were trumpeting the commencement of production on 18th April with a bar of gold being poured a week or so later!!!!!!!!!!!! - go figure.
