    I will stick to the facts as I know them.
    Grade factoring worked in the old days. Hand sorting the ore probably went a long way towards that result.
    Grade factoring did not work for MCO with the multiple reefs they mined inc Maxwells, Donaldsons and Burns. Will grade factoring be in play for AUL, Well I have my doubts. It will be interesting to see tonnages from the new Stackpooles zone and whether tbe grades stack up but Like aurifice I again have my doubts.
    The Star was never a big tonnage mine as shown in a book I donated to MCO(regretfully!). It showed yearly production from numerous mines in the area. The point bought homd to me was that most were producers of limited ounces but at high grade showing the difficulty of mining around Woods Point and needing to target the narrow veins with a very bands on approach. Easy to do then with wage rates and lack of OH&S.
    Personally I prefer the ROD.
