"The latest hit intersected 38.8m at 16.9% zinc and lead from 1068.9m, and included 20m at 22.4% zinc-lead from 1076m.
Another zone of 8.9m at 8% zinc-lead was recorded from 1164m, including 5m at 10.8% from 1164.3m.
Rox managing director Ian Mulholland said the company was delighted with the latest from the prospect.
“This is our best hole yet, and continues to confirm the huge potential and inherent value of this prospect,” he said.
“Twenty metres grading over 22% zinc-lead within a thicker zone of 38.8 metres grading 16.9% is a truly outstanding result.
“The strike length of the high grade mineralisation at Teena extends to an impressive 1.3km, with good apparent continuity of the mineralisation indicated between drill holes.”
Rox measures high-grade mineralisation as greater than 13% zinc-lead.
A further two holes have been drilled at Teena and assays are pending, while a fourth hole is underway"
