As the title suggests, these 2 books highlight the importance of companies leadership teams' discipline and choices as the biggest factors in the success of companies and eventual winning stock market performance.
Although you occasionally read on forums comments that the management is good or untrustworthy, incompetent etc, I rarely see any objective criteria for benchmarking companies' qualities.
I would appreciate thoughts from more experienced investors etc. I did not tag this to any particular sector or stock although I am hoping to think about this more closely regarding my share portfolio.
