Yesterday, 18Dec2012, Head of Energy and Mineral Resources of East Java, Dewi J. Putriatni, in discussing East Java Geothermal potential and progress stated that only 3 working areas (WKP) had been designated out of 11 potential sites and of the three points, just two WKP exploited, namely Ijen and Ngebel. Ijen (Medco) and Ngebel (Bakrie) not go faster because of conservation forests.
