No objection to reducing debt further even though AAC gearing is improving. However the last thing existing shareholders should want is a dilutive capital raising - and the finance head would be busy applying his time to other activities helping the company , not least reducing the interest bill by renegotiating banking facilities as they fall due. Lower costs of funding should be achieved due to lower interest rates , increased asset values and improving risk profile.
