re: interesting read what a crappy article..read what MAP has overseas...this article is written by someone who is out to get MAP..the company is now one of the largest Airport owner and yes they are in a monopoly industry..opposition Airports are not available..but charges are set by open democratic process..see what Brisbane charges....Sydney by comparison is CHEAP..so this poster thinks we are living in a comunist state where the Goverment sets the charges..well wrong...its the free economy which sets the charges as I pointed out Brisbane is an example..dearer to fly out overseas than Sydney....and the goverment officials will get their faces rubbed in as other Airports have similar charges..So what ever people think or say unfortunatly we all who fly will pay and saying a drop of in passengers....people will afford to fly...less people more charges...simple...as ALL airports around Australia are in the same boat...the article is just trying to dampen Airport shareholders...but like the chicken flu...more people died on Australians road than died of chicken flue in the world.....so quite frankly the article is just a piece of bad journalism....
