When it was drilled, back in the 80s it was drilled from East to West, even though mineralisation was encountered they failed to realise that the formation was similar to the Eastern Goldfields (as it is still South of the Jenkins fault) where most of the ore is in South to North trending deposits.
I cant remember the mining company Eon resources Ion metals , Multimetal are names that come to mind.
Plutonic is not far away it has about 4M oz Au,think it was also a blind deposit.
TO me Target 25 has a decent chance of being a Caldera with epitheral gold going down to 500M
Really dont know why Riedel has been stuffing around taking soil samples for the last year when the area is known to have changed signifcantly in the last 50 Million years and will make any samples in my opinion transported from far away one needs to sample under the trasnported cover IMHO.
Anyway Target 25 is the only reason I hold RIE I am not a geo so welcome to be corrected by the company or by someone with actual geology expereiance.
