MediVet Biologics, a leading provider of Veterinary cellular medicine, will host a summit that includes current applications in Veterinary Stem Cell, Platelet Rich Plasma, Nanofiber Tissue Engineering and an exciting update on a new novel treatment option for canine cancer, at the American Veterinary Medical Association Convention next month.
MediVet Biologics has gathered leading researchers from various fields of medicine that will share information on the current state and practicality of applying MediVet Biologics pipeline of products and services to the Veterinary practice. In addition, the summit will discuss how Veterinary medicine will continue to evolve with novel Veterinarian clinic based treatment options in the future for a variety of diseases.
The individual segments will be allocated to one hour tracks. Veterinarians can attend a single segment or all four during the AVMA conference on Sunday July 12th 2015.
Track 1 will begin at 7:00AM EST and focus on a new immunotherapy approach to canine cancer. This presentation will be provided by John Yannelli Ph.D., a leading researcher in the field of immunotherapy. The following presentation will feature Dr. Donald Cohen who as director of University of Kentucky flow cytometry facility will share important data on cellular medicine in the Veterinary field.
Also a guest speaker is Mike Hutchinson DVM; Dr. Hutchinson is a highly acclaimed speaker internationally on the topic of regenerative medicine in the Veterinary field, including Adipose Derived Stem Cell therapy. Dr. Hutchinson has clinical experience with over 850 stem cell treatments to date. He will share his clinical experience as well as a recent double blinded placebo controlled study from Kansas State University.
Finally Jed Johnson, Ph.D. from Nanofiber Solutions will share the advancements of tissue engineering currently in the Veterinary field and how MediVet Biologics can offer human grade medical treatment options from wound healing to 3D printed implants.
