IMO the SP volatility seen in all battery mineral stocks (and I mean all not just ASN) from early last year right through to now is that all the news hype about battery mineral stocks being the big thing for 2018 (how wrong was the press yet again) brought in so many uneducated (by uneducated I mean in the market) mainly younger people who have no patience at all and thought they were going to make millions (like they probably thought they would do in cryptos too) and they keep jumping from one shiny stock to another just hoping and losing more money on the way.

Well said ,that is exactly the situation at the moment ,and it certainly didn't help when someone dumped 500k into a already weak buy side ,like most small cap stocks at the moment.
