Rightio, so the market has said "nice work re the bromine and iodine but we know you are drilling and we wont be distracted, so show us what you got"
Well Mr market, my name is RJ and I'm here to help!
So below we have the 5 zones that will be sampled replete with the depths and thicknesses. Now, what I have done is gone through all the old logs from the oil guys and gals and matched the logs up with our depths to obtain a feeling for whether there will be brine or not. I suggest reading right through to the end for me to cross check with the logs from GB2.
Working in order from the highest to the deepest zones, the first is Clastic 17 from 5388 ft- 5420 ft, The logs show that zone to be salt, clear and white. Good, so no oil etc in that zone.
Then we move to clastic 19 from 5560 ft to 5598 ft, again we are in what they called clear white salt zone.
Then we move to clastics 29 and 31 in this slide, 29 been 6160 ft to 6180 ft and cs 31 been 6220 ft to 6245 ft. Again we have clear white salt reported.
The final target zone is clastic 33 from 6384 ft to 6395 ft, which in the past has not always flowed of its own motion. In any event we have salt and white again here and no sample but an inference is made.
Remember that from this hole brine exploded from the hole when the oil drillers were plying their trade!
Now for those who think RJ has drunk too much cranberry juice this afternoon let me take you to the logs for GB2. The zone below hit very low grade lithium and I wonder why, look at the logs from the oil folk
"Non salt interval" and basically all the other words mean the zone is rubbish!
So based on the logs from skyline and a comparison to the gb 2 logs I am quite confident that all 5 zones will hit brine. The question will be what is the makeup of the brine but the positive for me is the logs show no shows of oil in any of our zones unlike GB2 for instance which was extremely tainted by oil shows.
Remember when we talk about salt in brine that's just what we want to see for prospectivity for lithium and the word salts does not mean just sodium of course. For anyone new google "lithium in salt water brine" to help DYOR.
