    Interesting to see USA sales of 80m still. South Korea plus so called other countries together do dwarf Ossis sales still.

    Back to an old theme of mine...take away all the bulldust; 280 000 breeders..say 250 000 calves....keep 40 000 for replacement.
    250 000 calves to weaners ...easy $200m this market...culls 30 000. =$30m
    Costs at present....30 m op and property...50m staff...25m admin... use these same inflated costs for now

    125m ebitda which is more than double (nearly triple) what they're getting !!!
    For that we have employed all the value adding staff ...cattle buyers....truck drivers ...feedlot staff ..meat wholesaling and retailing etc ..plus the meat works....plus all the admin to keep a business twice the size and complexity going

    Anyone with big property experience see any holes?

    I always have said the key to this is the calf factory...and Holmes a court and then others since have got carried away with the so called value add! It has a role but it is bulldust to say it is secret of their so called success!

    Not the first time I have done these sorts of numbers on these threads
