You might be right, but I suspect it was also a recognition that the phase of high growth on shoestring capital was over. May have looked at growth going forward, and simply seen that it was the AOEI component of the sp that had growth stamped on it. Maybe not.
There may also have been a recognition that they were already strategically outmaneuvered by Shell. Hard to know, and I really think/though that AOE had a stronger hand than Shell.
I will be watching Dart with interest. Atm based on 470 less 5 months holding cost it looks undervalued. But that's a static value. Whether Dart is going to be a multi bagger is what I will be looking at, and for that I will want to see how strongly the best of the AOE team are backing it with their time and money. Too early to judge Dart imho.
