Why would you buy back own stocks using debt funded money anyway...

That money allocated to repurchasing would have been better directed to reducing the debt...

And stop paying dividend whilst you still have debt..i suspect they just want to prop up the stock, labelling it as a "dividend-income" stock to attract smsf and pensioj funds..
