Wide barriers have played alright in recent years actually on soft / heavy tracks for the first 3.

2018 - soft 6 > 14-10-5
2017 - heavy 10 > 11-14-9
2016 - good 4 > 2-3-4
2015 - good 3 > 16-5-4
2014 - heavy 8 > 11-12-5
