All good. Everyone has their own thesis for investing and there isn't a right or wrong way to go about it.
I can assure you my thesis is opposite to yours though! Some of my best investments would not have happened if I didn't believe in the fundamentals of the company and was prepared to wear a heavy paper loss before the blue sky appeared.
I do appreciate good charting discussion on any stock I hold though, because people like you are far better than investors like me at reading the charts.
