Interesting that at 2pm US time overnight the Dow and gold shot...

Interesting that at 2pm US time overnight the Dow and gold shot straight up together, however the DOW lost the rise by the close but gold held and has risen more since in this mornings trade.

In the last big crash of 08 gold fell with the markets as stockholders had to sell everything they could to meet margins. This time the banking systems themselves have been buying in to hold stocks up. A number of commentators have pointed this out the last few years and that those burnt traders having learnt the hard way have since accumulated cash and will now take up gold. And with the contract eft paper system there will just not be enough physical gold or silver for everyone.

Our time has come IMHO
