A few more thoughts on this thing.
It should be fairly obvious now that the US Fed owns the gold game and is the price determinant. Certainly at this point anyway.
So where are we going here.
We have a "system" that is soley dependent on debt creation for its survival.
Then we also have government interest rates at historical lows.
    How can this be?
When you start interfering with something, especially something dynamic then it requires more and more interference to give the impression of stability even as a collapse is happening.
So the governments control the debt markets and will fight to hold the rate structure from rising because higher rates in a debt rising environment is certainly not appreciated.
And the Fed will fight with everything its got to keep control of the gold market because a rising gold price is certainly against their wishes for numerous reasons.
So where are we going here? Do we end up in one big final deflationary bust or do we move to currency destruction as anything physical is bought against government paper.
The difference between the government bond market and the "real"gold market is that one is physical and the other is,well its just paper.
    Hyperinflation is a currency event.
We are in the calm before the storm.
