Investors and Margin Calls (or just margin by itself!) should never appear in the same sentence.

IMVHO, (so-called) investors who operate on margin are nothing more than speculators.  Just the idea of these people using other people's money (DEBT!!) to speculate in the stock market - whilst at the same time having their own cash in other assets (AU in this case) - appalls the crap out of me.

This is not smart investing and it is motivated solely by greed. It just distorts the market and margin usage should be banned....along with other greedy type market mechanisms (like Algorithms, Bots, Margin, Derivatives etc etc).

But, in the end, all of the above simply just adds even more to the pile of "debt based" house of cards. I really can't wait to see who (and how many) of these greedy sods are left holding a worthless pile of crap. When she finally goes off....she is going to go off big time!
