There is no way that that figure can be obtained from the data they currently have. There are strict guidelines in about what can and cant be said around the size or indicating the possible size of a resource (jorc code).

Seems like the standards for varun are a bit lower. It is actually more of a concern than comfort to me that they are trumpeting this number at this stage of exploration.
