Still, would like to know where the $1 p/t figure comes from, that seems very low even after considering a discount for refurbishment (as I've mentioned before the refurb costs for the plant are minimal).
Could be the $1 per tonne is just the failsafe, ie the amount charged for the tonnage agreed to regardless of the tonnage processed.
For example, I've seen a lessee agreement where the negotiated amount paid to the owner was $1 per agreed tonne + $5 per tonne actually processed. So in this case, if agreed tonne was 1M tonne per annum, and they only processed 800k tonnes, the owner would receive $5M.
But who knows, maybe for example they agreed to forgive the additional cost for actually processed tonnes for a year, in return for lessee paying refurb costs.
So we really need to see the agreement details.
