Yes, this is a forum. I DONT HOLD, I'm watching. If you don't understand that people can be interested and discuss a stock without holding, then I can only assume you don't do much background study on stocks you buy. In which case anything opinion you hold has to be taken with a very large grain of salt. While I can understand ppl being p1ssed off if they hold and nothing is happening, I really don't understand why ppl that don't hold are negative about a stock, unless they have an unstated agendum, of course.
PNE, a stock I also did not hold, we're getting to grips with PF just before they went bust. An external consultants report (Snoweden?) report identified what they should have been looking for, but they couldn't act on it for lack of funds. Sage picked up the carcass to (eventually) use the shell for EUR, so there is no question of whether he tried to make a go of it, that's not what he picked up the shell for.
A study done some time ago (late 80s?) for a mini "super pit" concluded the gold was easily recovered through a straight gravity circuit, but the SR was too high, at over 20. This was on the known gold ocurrences. The bulk grades weren't that hot either - 1 or 1.5 g/t springs to mind. That's not what I'm interested in. The known occurrences are the wrong target completely, an opinion expressed in the ?Snowden report. Whilst the high grades in those ocurrences look good, mining dilution quickly renders them sub economic.
I'm not starry eyed about this, I'm just interested to see if someone can finally unlock the wealth in this field. I'll invest if and when I am convinced that is happening. What you do is, of course, your business, but shouting into the wind is not particularly profitable no matter what happens.
