High grade gold veins were present across the Manganese drilling on the Butre project in Ghana.
This has not been widely marketed, however, within Shaw River the potential has now been recognised.
I believe the high grade gold, and the extent of these findings took SRR a little by surprise, and hence they are not too keen on over publicising this at the moment.
But, they are drilling for gold (concurrently with manganese) in the current quarter, and these results when announced could give shareholders (and the market) a very pleasant surprise indeed.
The proximity of the gold to the manganese within the intersections means that SRR can explore for both elements with very little extra effort, which is a big plus.
I believe Shaw River should have no problem with being known as a high grade quality Manganese AND Gold company.
There is a lot of upside to this company, not withstanding the support of Atlas, and the excellent management.
We know the manganese is looking exceptionally good (and with Atlas's Chinese contracts/contacts there should not be any problem with mine financing or sale of the Manganese), but add high grade gold to the mix, and shareholders could be in for a very interesting 3 to 6 months of results here.
