You post a fair bit on HC so it will be handy for you to be able to post a chart.
Hopefully the chart is saved in a .gif format or a similar format, sometimes other formats like .xls (excell) need to be converted before you can upload to a hosting website.
anyway
First go to www.photobucket.com and open an account, it's free for a low resolution account (in the future, if you want better quality resolution, it cost's US$25 per year....cheap !!). A free account will be fine for now though.
You then need to upload the chart fron your computer to to photobucket.
Just click the upload now button on photobucket and when the screen changes click the select Photo's and video's button.
A popup will come up from which you can then select the file you want to upload, click on the file directly or type in the name of it and press open.
Photobucket will then upload it from your computer, when the upload is complete (it will tell you if it is sucessfull or not) click the save and continue to your home page button.
If all is well you now have your chart saved onto their website.
Then, when the image is hosted on photobucket, a mini version will appear on your homepage, when you hover the curser over the image, a box will drop down and gives you a number of options, one of which is "IMG code" this is the code for the direct image (the easiest way to start with) to be posted on another website.
Just left click on the yellow part of the box and and it will show as copied, then go to the reply page of HC, which you should already have open in another window, ready to go (have the reply page on hot copper open), then left click in your post to place the cursor where you want it, then right click and select paste and the URL will appear with the IMG code at either end.
The image (whatever it is) will then appear in your post.
Always click the preview post button first on HC to check the image is OK, if not scroll down to the origional post and make any changes and preview again, when it is OK click the post message button, and you are done.
It is not as complicated as it sounds, lol.
cheers
