I got involved in GTE a few mouths ago based on the geochem. I had been involved at MtClure early geochem and seen how well this worked in the area. The extremely high grade of GTE geochem looked a little concerning, as this can sometimes mean a 'nugget' effect, and not always an orebody below. But with some old workings, and no historic drilling, it looked an obvious punt.
These results change everything. The nugget effect (from some other far of source) now means nothing. We have now a source of mineralization. I think this is a major hurdle over come. It is now just down to infill drilling, and probably a good chance of more good hits. Stringing all the sections together will be the next challenge to define a viable/mineable orebody.
This is an exciting phase, so much to look forward to. There will be a few little 'let downs' on the way, as we expect all to be perfect. But exploration does not always work to plan.
