I fear anyone relying on the gold to make the company "cash secure" is in for disappointment. Sure, anything we get out of it would be a nice bonus. But in every analysis I've seen of CIO the gold is a footnote along the lines of "might be some cash in this someday, maybe". I'm surprised it's had so much attention in this forum to be honest.
