Always a little amusing how people become downrampers when they missed the boat!
Lithium, oil, iron ore, etc, all go through cycles and at the moment lithium is a little off, just like oil is up.
As far as glut is concerned my opinion is just about opposite- there is good amounts of lithium production presently, there are some companies making terrific cash, and with the electric vehicles companies really making strides, then the batteries material sector will continue to boom for some time!
As for investment from these car companies- many of them will fall by the wayside if they don’t get with the times- so car companies need to invest- or else!
Some of these battery minerals companies will continue to make great coin and just like in the iron ore explosion, they will become companies just like Rio and BHP,while others will falter and struggle, Darwin theory- survival of the fittest/toughest!
Choose the right companies, and you’ll do well long term, careful getting into starters now as many wont make it, and the money in the sector is spread thinly, but choosing the right company will really set up your portfolio long term!
