The price movement seems so illogical to me, poor mushroom, that I wonder if a would be large buyer wants to manipulate the SP lower. For instance, Downer (DOW) may rue the fact that it did not buy when the SP was circa 10c. Merging the operations of NWH and DOW makes a lot of sense.
In 2011 BHP acquired a mining services company, HWE Mining, from Leighton for $735m. it is possible, but improbable, that RIO might want to gain control of NWH.
